First Class Agents' goal is twofold: first, to allow real estate agents to easily connect with other agents and industry professionals; second, to present a complete profile to clients. This, in turn, will allow clients to research and compare real estate agents with the ultimate goal of finding an agent that is the best fit for them.
Clients can find everything they want to know about a real estate agent in one place, including bio, contact information, social media links, brokerage information, specializations, recommendations, achievements, and more.
With the added title of "Verified" First Class Agents, clients can be assured that a real estate agent has met certain criteria concerning performance, as well as the peace of mind knowing that they are in good standing with their respective governing body. You can read more about the verification process in the "Verified Agent" section.
Our focus is on the Agent, not the listings. Agents can link to listings and future updates will add more listing options. Showcasing each agent will remain our primary focus.
Once an agent or professional logs in to their account, they will find a wide range of features that will help them build their network locally as well as across the country. Although many features are free, users who opt to upgrade to a premium or verified account will have access to additional features, statistics and soon the "Offline Networking" tool which connects in person interactions to the First Class Agents network.
When registering you must choose from one of three types of accounts: Real Estate Agent Account, Industry Professional Account or Client Account. Each account type comes with different requirements and features, so it is important that you select the right type of account to have the best possible experience. In all cases you will be required to go through our account verification process.
Agent Accounts - Agent accounts are meant for licenced real estate agents. You will be required to enter information pertaining to the brokerage you are registered with. This type of account will be promoted on the First Class Agent website and will be visible to clients, other agents and industry professionals. At any time an agent can opt to hide his or her account. When hidden, any users that have added the agent to their contact list will still be able to see the agent's name, email and phone number (if provided), but the agent's profile will no longer be visible.
Industry Accounts - Industry accounts are meant for professionals who have a working/business relationship with licenced real estate agents or other industry professionals. You will be required to choose an industry and provide your title and employer. This type of account will only be visible to agents and other industry professionals. In the near future there will be a section for the public to access industry professional accounts. At any time, an industry professional can opt to hide his or her account. When hidden, any users that that have added a professional to their contact list will still be able to see the industry professional's name, email and phone number (if provided), but the profile will no longer be visible.
Client Accounts - Client accounts are meant for individuals who are or have been a client of a licenced real estate agent. Clients can search, add agents to their contact list and provide client recommendations for agents. Client profiles are not visible to anyone. When a client leaves a recommendation, only their name is displayed.
The goal of First Class Agents is to help match clients with their ideal real estate agent. Searching and keeping track of your favorite agents is quite simple. Your location will always be visible at the top of the page. When you perform a search, the results will be specific to that location. You can change and search another location at any time. Start by visiting the search page. There are two ways to search:
Search by Community, Specialization and Language - The first option is to search by any combination of community, specialization and language spoken by the agent. When an agent registers for an account, they must choose their niche community(s), specialization(s) and language(s) in which they can conduct business. Agents are limited to the number of communities and specializations they can choose, so when you find an agent that is an exact match in your search results, you will know that this is one of their areas of expertise.
Search By Name - The second option is to search for an agent by name. You can simply enter all or part of an agent's name and we will try to find a match for you. If there are no matches, you can use the invite form to send an invitation for the agent to join.
Exact Matches - The search results page will first try to find agents that exactly match your search criteria, including community, specialization and language. If you are seaching by name, the results will contain the exact combination and order of letters entered.
Partial Matches - After any exact matches are presented, you will then be provided with a list of partial matches. These results will contain agents that meet some (but not all) of the community, specialization and language requirements. The partial match section is not available for name searches.
All Agents - Finally, users will be provided with a complete list of all agents in their respective location.
Order of Search Results - In any set of search results, "Verified Agents" are always listed first. These agents have completed the verification process and have met certain criteria. We then use our First Class Agent algorithm to determine the order of results, which will be constantly changing. Agents can improve their search ranking by building their network and promoting the First Class Agents site.
Contacts - To find real estate agents to add to your contact list, simply search for an agent using the search page. On each agent's profile, there is an "Add Contact" button located directly below their profile picture. The agent will then appear in the contacts section on your profile page.
A user can remove an agent from their contacts in one of two ways. The first option is to visit the contacts section on your profile page and click the "x" next to the agent's name. The second option is to visit the agent's profile page and click the remove button found under their profile picture.
Agents and industry professionals can also search for industry professionals to add to their contact list using the search links provided in the contacts section. A window will pop up with a list of professionals in your location. Simply click the "add" button next to the user's name. In the future, clients will be able to perform this type of search. They can be removed by clicking the "x" next to their name in the contacts section on a user's profile. Users receive a notification when they have been added or removed from another user's contact list.
Invitations - Users can invite agents to join using the invite form found on the search page or in the contacts section of their profile. An email will be sent with a request to join. Each user can send only one invite to a given email address every 30 days. Agent and industry professional accounts can send invites to industry professionals directly from the industry search page in the contact section of their profile. Again, only one invitation per user per email address every 30 days. This is a great way to build your network by ensuring all important contacts are in one place.
Rules for Providing Recommendations
1. This section is intended to provide positive recommendations for real estate agents. If you have a complaint, please visit the complaints section at the bottom of each page.
2. Recommendations must be truthful and accurate. Leaving false or misleading recommendations can lead to account suspension.
3. Clients, industry professionals and real estate agents may all leave recommendations. Currently only real estate agents can receive recommendations, however, industry professionals will have this option in the future.
4. You may provide multiple recommendations for an agent, however, you must wait 30 days in between.
5. Recommendations can be edited or removed at any time by the author.
6. Real estate agents can not remove recommendations they have received.
Client Recommendations - This type of recommendation is meant for anyone who is currently or has been a client of a real estate agent at any time. To leave this type of receommendation you must be registered and logged in with a client account.
Industry Recommendations - This type of recommendation is meant for professionals who have a business relationship with a given real estate agent or other industry professional. This can include professionals in the mortgage business, insurance, investment, legal, marketing, etc. To leave this type of recommendation you must be registered and logged in with an industry professional account.
Connecting two of your contacts is very easy on First Class Agents. All users with agent or professional accounts can initiate and receive introductions. To initiate an introduction between two of your contacts, simply visit your profile page and scroll to the introductions sections. Click "provide and introduction", select two of your contacts, add a message and submit. Both contacts will receive an email notifying them that you have provided an introduction.
After an introduction is initiated, the host can track the results to determine the contacts have added each other.
Agent Boards -
All Real Estate Agents have their own agent board that they can use to post announcements to other users. This might include a new listing, an upcoming event, an achievement, and more. Agents have the options of sharing their announcements exclusively with contacts or with all other users.
Feeds - Users can view announcements made on agent boards by visiting the feed link found at the top of each page. On the feed page, users will find three separate feeds: announcements from contacts, announcements from all local agents and announcements from all agents across the country.
To find a real estate agent that fits your needs, it is important to do your research. The more you know about an agent, the easier it will be to make a decision at to whether they are the right agent for you. The Verified First Class Agent badge adds additional peace of mind for clients. Each agent has the option to go through the verification process, however, it is not required to create an account.
To get verified, an agent must meet the following criteria which will be confirmed by our team each year:
1. Have an active and valid Real Estate Licence.
2. Have completed a minimum of 10 transactions.
3. Be good standing with their respective governing body.
In addition to receiving the "First Class Agent" badge in the search results and on an agent's profile, the verification process will unlock: additional specialization slots, the verified achievement section, additional profile statistics, the ability to create and manage a team, as well as the opportunity to be promoted in some of our advertisements.

The accounts are built with that in mind, so the fields and features are intended to create an optimal experience for the industry professional. Industry accounts have both required fields and optional fields. Required fields are marked with a red asterisk, some are completed during registration and some prior to making the profile visible to real estate agents and other industry professionals. If a user chooses not to fill in an optional field, it will not be displayed on his or her profile.
Required fields include some contact information, business website, biography and more. Fields such as profile pictures, phone number, and others are optional.
For now, industry accounts are only visible to real estate agents and to other industry professionals. These accounts will be searchable by the public in the near future. When this change is made, industry account holders will be notified and profiles will remain hidden from clients until the user chooses to make it public. Users with industry accounts have the option to hide their accounts from all.
Industry Account Features
With a client account you will be able to keep track of your favorite real estate agents and leave recommendations. Soon you will have access to other industry professionals. The goal of First Class Agents is to help you, the customer, research and ultimalety decide on the best real estate agent for your needs. If you see the "First Class Agent" badge on the picture and profile of a real estate agent, it means that they have met certain criteria that have been verified by our team.
Client Account Features
Only verified First Class Agents can create and manage a team. The team lead will be responsible for adding a team logo, description, and inviting and removing members.
Real estate agents can only join one team at a time. They must first receive an invite from the team lead. All team invites are available in the "Teams" section on an agent's profile. The "Accept" invitation and "Leave Team" buttons can also be found in this section.
Only verified first class agents can contribute to a team's statistics. Team totals will be tabulated from the verified achievements of their members. These statistics will be used in the future to rank teams on the team search page.
When an agent upgrades to a verified account, they will receive one complimentary FCA business card. FCA cards have a built in chip that allow users to quickly provide a digital business card including contact information and a personalized message to others by simply tapping and holding the card against a phone. The user will then be presented with three options:
1) Add the agent to the contacts in their phone
2) Learn more about the agent by visiting their First Class Agent profile
3) Send the agent their contact information.
FCA Cards are activated once an agent upgrades to a verified account. The cards remain active until the agent cancels their subscription.
As an alternative, the QR code can be used to provide the digital business card. Have the client open their camera and point to the QR code. They will be prompted to open the link to the digital card and can then save the information in their contact list on their phone.
We have made this as easy as possible for agents with premium or verified accounts. The contact information provided on the digital contact card is all taken directly from your First Class Agents profile. This includes: profile picture, name, title, phone number, email, brokerage, website and brokerage website. When you update your First Class Agents profile, your FCA card is automatically updated!
You can also add a custom message to your contact card that will appear in the notes section when saved. The message can include a link to a listing, spec sheet or any other external url.
You can access the date and time of every card tap both in the last 30 days and since receiving the card by visting the "Offline Networking" section on your First Class Agents profile.
You will also be provided with a list of First Class Agents members that you have met in person. These members will be separated into two lists showing members that you have as contacts on First Class Agents and members that are not currently in your contact list.
When the FCA Card is tapped, the client will have the option to provide their contact information to the agent by filling out a short form. When the form is submitted, the agent will be notified via email and can access the contact information and any message provided by visiting the "Offline Networking" section on their profile. Agents will also find a link to quickly add the client's information to the contacts on their phone.
The FCA card uses NFC technology to transfer information from the card to a user's phone. Most newer phones have this feature automatically enabled. In some older phones or phones that have not been updated, this feature will need to be enabled in settings. The QR code can always be used as an alternative to tapping.
Additional or replacement cards can be purchased through the Agent Store.
Agent and industry professional accounts have access to the Agent Store. The Agent Store is where an agent can access some of the paid features which include Agent Verification, Specialty Slots, Feature Agent Slots, Client Gifts and more. The Agent Store can be accessed by logging in and clicking the link found in the account drop-down menu or at the bottom of each page.
Did you know that you can write a recommendation every 30 days. We understand that there can be multiple transactions that take place between Clients, Industry Professionals and Real Estate Agents, so we thought it would be a good idea to allow multiple recommendations!
You can build your network all across the country by simply changing the location at the top of the page. This allows you to find contacts in other cities. Your registration location will never change. More locations will be available soon!
